Pledge of character

During this school year, I will accept my RESPONSIBILITY as a student by using good CITIZENSHIP at home, school and in the community. I will show RESPECT for others and myself. I will show KINDNESS to those around me and be THANKFUL to live in a free county. I will exercise PERSEVERANCE in my school work by not giving up. I will use COOPERATION in my all aspects of my daily life. I will be HONEST and use SELF-CONTROL in making decisions. I will take PRIDE in being a Barringer Road School student.

Self-Control: Control of one’s own actions or feelings. (presented by: 2nd grade)
