Dan LaLonde, PresidentCurrent Term: 2009-2014
Mr. Dan LaLonde was first elected to serve on the Ilion Board of Education in 1999. He currently serves as the BOE President. In addition, he is currently serving a second term on the Herkimer County BOCES Board.
Mr. LaLonde graduated from Ilion High School in 1975. He is married and has three children. He retired from the Ilion Fire Department after a career ending injury in 1992. He is active in the community having coached soccer and Ilion Youth Basketball which he has done for over 16 years.

Steve Coupe, Vice PresidentCurrent Term: 2007-2012
Mr. Steve Coupe is currently serving as Vice
President of the Ilion Board of Education. Mr. Coupe is a lifelong
resident of Ilion and graduated from Ilion High School in 1984. He
continued his education at Herkimer County Community College and SUNY
Utica-Rome where he earned degrees in business and finance. He later
received a scholarship from Syracuse University's Whitman School of
Management where he received his MBA in Strategic Management.
He is active in the community and has served as a trustee of the
Oneida BOCES Occupational Education Advisory Council, the Oneida
County Historical Society and the Mohawk Valley Chamber of Commerce.
He is currently serving as the Vice President of the Mohawk Valley
Community College Foundation and has served as a member of the Ilion
Board of Education since 1997. He is a member of the Herkimer BOCES
Audit Committee. He lives in Ilion with his wife and their two
daughters.
Mrs. Bonnie CoffinCurrent Term: 2011-2016
Bonnie L. Coffin has served on the Ilion Board of Education since 2006. She is a lifelong resident of the Village of Ilion. She and her husband, Bill, are huge fans of Ilion sports and enjoy watching their three children, Lindsay, Abby, and Andrew play field hockey, basketball, softball, wrestling, football, and baseball.
She graduated from Ilion Jr.-Sr. High School is 1984. She attended Mohawk Valley Community College and later SUNY Oneonta and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology.
She enjoys many civic activities including volunteering for the David P. Whalen Community Park, Boilermaker Road Race, Glimmerglass Triathlon. She has also been a volunteer for many local organizations including Ilion Pop Warner, Ilion AYSO, and Ilion Little League. She is an active member of the Ilion Knights of Columbus Sacred Heart #518 Ladies Auxiliary.
Mr. Tom GoldinCurrent Term: 2010-2015
Mr. Goldin was first elected to the Ilion Central School District Board of Education in 2000. He is a lifelong resident of Ilion. Tom and his wife Diane have been married for 30 years and together they have enjoyed watching their children Rebecca, Elaine and Greg successfully attend ICS achieving in academics, athletics, music and drama.
Tom is a 1971 graduate of Ilion and a 1975 graduate of the State University College at Buffalo where he majored in Criminal Justice. Currently Tom is the Security Supervisor of Remington Arms and has been named the Firearms Compliance Manager for the facility.
Mr. Cliff Lane, Jr.Current Term: 2008-2013
Mr. Lane was first elected to the Ilion Central School District Board of Education in 2008 and is serving his first term. He is a lifelong resident of Ilion and has been married to his wife Donna for 27 years.
Cliff is a 1969 graduate of Ilion. After serving in the Air Force, he returned to Ilion in 1974. He earned his business degree with a major in accounting from SUNY Tech in Utica. He has enjoyed a 35-year career at Remington Arms. He is on the Remington Federal Credit Union Board of Directors serving as Supervisory Committee chairman for the last 23 years. He also served for eight years as President of the New York State Credit Union League's Utica/Rome Credit Union Chapter. He has been a member of the Ilion Elks for the last 16 years.
Mrs. Deanna StubleyCurrent Term: 2007-2012
Mrs. Stubley began serving her first term on the Board of Education in 2007. She has spent most of her life in Ilion having moved into the district when she whe was in first grade. She has two daughters who attend the Ilion Jr-Sr High School. She has been employed in banking for over twenty years. Mrs. Stubley active in our community serving as President of the Valley United Way, as an America Reads tutor and as secretary for Ilion Youth Basketball. She has been a member of the High School Parental Involvement Committee and the Ilion Music Boosters. She served as homeroom parent for over 10 years.
Mr. James VitaleCurrent Term: 2009-2014
Mr. Vitale and his wife, Kim, have resided in Ilion since 1998. Prior to that Jim was born and raised in West Frankfort and is proud to be a resident of the Mohawk Valley. Together they have 4 daughters attending Ilion who are active in the academics and athletics.
Jim is a college professor at Mohawk Valley Community College. He is currently serving on a number of community and college committees.
