  • Voters approve 2012-13 budget  (05/15/12) - Voter approve the 2012-13 school budget.

  • Budget newsletter is online (04/30/12) - view a PDF of the complete budget newsletter. This is the same newsletter sent to all district residents.

  • Required budget information online (04/30/12) - New York State law requires that school districts post certain budget information online for the public to review. Below find PDFs of each required report. Copies are also available from the district office and each school office.

    • Three-part Budget—the district's proposed expenditures broken down into three categories (administration, instruction and capital.

    • Detailed expenditures—the district's proposed expenditures by line.

    • Required budget notice—a one-page document that compares the district's proposed budget, tax levy, and three-part budget components to last year's adopted budget, voting information and projected STAR savings.

    • Administrative Salary Disclosure—the superintendent's and assistant superintendent's salaries, benefits and other compensation.

    • Property Tax Report Card—the district's property tax levy calculation and information related to the district's reserve funds.

    • Ilion School Report Card—financial, academic and enrollment data as reported by the NYS Education Department.

    • Exemption Impact Report—listing of properties that are exempt from school property taxes. This includes both tax exempt properties and properties covered under Payment in Lieu of Taxes (PILOT) agreements.

  • Voters to weigh proposed 2012-13 school budget (04/24/12) - On Tuesday, May 15, Ilion Central School District residents will vote on the district’s proposed $27,543,210 budget for the 2012-13 school year. The proposal increases total spending $543,233 and carries a proposed tax levy increase of $91,800 or 2 percent.

  • District revises preliminary budget (PDF) (02/27/12) - The BOE looked at the revised budget draft for the 2012-2013 school year at its Feb. 27 meeting.

  • BOE to take first look at the budget (PDF) (02/10/12) - BOE will take a first look at the district's first budget draft on its Feb. 13 meeting. This is the first step in developing a proposed 2012-13 budget.

  • May 7, 2012 - Budget hearing held at Ilion Jr.-Sr. High School Large Group Instruction (LGI) room.

  • May 15, 2012 - Budget vote from 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm in the Ilion CSD cafeteria.
