Thoughtfulness at Thanksgiving
CSEA staff donates Thanksgiving baskets
Thoughtfulness
showed at Thanksgiving when staff members of the Ilion Central School
District CSEA Unit #7110 donated Thanksgiving baskets to Ilion
Catholic Charities. Members put together baskets to complete a nice
dinner for 2 families in need.
Each basket included a turkey and items for side dishes to create a special meal including pie for dessert. Festive tableware and accessories along with fall decorations completed the baskets to bring a nice festive finish to the holiday for the family. Members of the unit are pleased to be able to help make the holiday season brighter for these local families.

This is not the first time the CSEA staff members have reached out offering help to others. This past fall, the group branched out of the local community and donated gift cards to assist the flood vicitms in the New York State southern tier (Binghamton area). Previous years donations have been made to local charities by sponsoring children in the Gram Lorraine program, donating Thanksgiving baskets, and various monetary or gift card donations.
