Free Summer Feeding Program
Now that summer is here, you may be wondering how
to help your child continue to eat healthy during the long, hot days.
Why not have them participate in the Ilion Summer Feeding Program?
It is held at Montgomery Street Playground and Remington Elementary
School Monday - Friday, July 5-August 14.

is served 11:30 am, however you need to be at the playground to sign
up for lunch at 10:30 am.

In addition to the lunch program, breakfast will be
served at Remington Elementary from 8:30-9:00 am, Monday-Friday. There
is no need to sign up ahead of time, just be at the school at 8:30 am.

The program offers a nutritious, free breakfast
to anyone under the age of 18. There are no income requirements or
costs to participate.
Barb Cristman, Cafeteria Manager of Ilion Central
School District oversees the program. She and her staff prepare the
lunches for those who are attending, serving at Remington Elementary
and delivering them to the Montgomery Street Playground.
We are pleased to be able to offer this program to residents of Ilion
and the surrounding communities.
In accordance with Federal Law and US Department of
Agriculture policy acceptance and participation requirements for the
program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race,
color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no
discrimination in the course of the meal service. USDA is an equal
opportunity provider and employer.
Eligibility has been established for the sites and
no further documentation is required.
