Basketball Boot Camp - 2011
Basketball Boot Camp will be held for boys entering grades 7-12 from Wednesday, August 3 - Saturday, August 6, 2011 at the Ilion Jr.-Sr. High School from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. The cost is $45.00 if paid by August 1, or $50.00 at the door. Space is limited, registration is required by completing the Baseketball Boot Camp registration form (PDF). Camp objective
Basketball boot camp is an intense, no-nonsense learning experience for boys entering grades 7 – 12. This camp is designed for the athlete who spends time thinking about improving and reaching another level of performance. This camp is NOT for the casual player. It will be an intense and rewarding learning experience that will include skill development, improvement in leadership and communication skills and will show you ways to make your team better, both in practice and in games. Boot camp is designed to teach players to play intelligently, to be true leaders during games, in practice, and in everyday life. Unique drills and game situations will be used to build physical and mental habits that lead to smart, effective play.

Drills
Drills will be run by Eric Wallace, Hoop Mountain Florida. Eric’s experience includes 4 year player at Clarkson University, captain senior year, director and owner of Hoop Mountain Florida basketball camps and showcases, owner of the FloridaHoops.com, the internet site for Florida high school basketball, part-time European scout for USA basketball and the owner of the Florida Hoops Report – the national scouting service for Division I, II, and III coaches.
Area high school coaches will assist in the drills
used in camp.
College coaches will also present daily lectures.
