Senior Mackenzie Stubley is Ilion High School's Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen. Mackenzie's teachers and classmates selected her as the student in the Class of 2013 who exhibits the qualities of service, leadership, patriotism and dependability. DAR Good Citizen Chairman Carolyn Beran recently visited school to present Mackenzie with the award.
Mackenzie is a well-rounded student who is involved in a variety of community and extracurricular activities. She has been a strong leader among her classmates in Student Council, Key Club, Drama Club, chamber choir, orchestra, chorus, Spanish Club, National Honor Society and especially as the Secretary for the Class of 2013. She is a contributing member of the varsity soccer, basketball and track teams. Mackenzie also volunteers for the American Breast Cancer Walk, American Heart Run and Walk, Red Cross Blood Drive, peer tutoring, supply drive for the Humane Society and as a fundraiser for UNICEF.
Mackenzie is the daughter of Matthew and Deanna Stubley of Ilion.
