"The Mirror"
Junior and senior publishing students have been busy completing pages for this year's junior/senior high school yearbook, The Mirror.
The first Deadline, set by yearbook company Jostens, has come and gone. Working closely with their advisors, Mrs. Burney and Ms. DeRocco, the students worked through forty pages of senior and baby pictures, and senior wills.
The cost of the yearbook is $55.00 and up depending on personalization options. Students have been reporting to homerooms every other Wednesday to collect payments. Payments can also be mailed to the school in care of The Mirror.
As a reminder, a down payment of $10 is needed to secure a non-personalized yearbook and a $40 payment is needed for a personalized copy. Down payments must be made by January 20, 2012.

Parents can upload pictures for the yearbook online

Enter information about the photo and provide contact information in case the staff needs additional information.

Parents can also order their child a yearbook online.

To do so, enter http://jostensyearbooks.com and follow the quick and easy prompts. You may also pay for the yearbook at that time.

When are senior portraits due?
Senior pictures need to be submitted for the yearbook by October 21. Photos can be submitted in any format, however digital is helpful if possible. They can be black and white or color portraits, but a verticle pose is required. Ms. DeRocco is available to take senior portraits for anyone that is not able to do so on their own to include in the yearbook. She may be contacted at the high school or via email at jderocco@ilioncsd.org to make arrangements.
