Remington Elementary's Character Counts Education program revolves around the 8 good character virtues which are used as words of the month.
Each virtue is symbolized by an animal character and color. View the Character Carousel (PDF) animal characters and a description of the representing animal and color as well as what each word means.
The murals of each character representing the
virtues were painted around the building by former Remington
Elementary Art teacher, Joanna Marosek.
As the students walk the halls, the murals reinforce the character virtues each day to the students as reminders to make good choices and become oustanding citizens.
