Mrs. Trevett - offered to students in grades 4-6. Students meet to learn awareness of the affects of drugs and alcohol and how to make good choices as well as spread their knowledge to other students.
Mrs. Scharett - representatives from each grade level in 4th -6th participate in student council. Student council sponsors fundraisers and collections such as coin collections and canned food drives to help Remington students give back to the community.
Mrs. Beigh - students in grades 4th -6th learn what it is like to become reporters and work on a student newsletter.
Mrs. Cooney - Elementary Art Club is open to fifth and sixth grade students. This is time to engage in art materials and /or techniques that might not be offered in art classes due to larger groups and short art class times. Sometimes art club works on a community-based project. In the future, we would like to go on an art field trip.
Mr. Canipe - 5th and 6th grade students help out the staff by working in the morning as monitors ensuring the safety of the students before entering school.
Mrs. Costin - This is open to all students in grades 1st -6th who would like the opportunity to burn off some energy and have fun before school starts. The students walk around the gym while listening to upbeat music. 1st and 2nd grade attend on A and D days, 3rd and 4th grade attend on B and E days and the 5th and 6th grade students attend on C and F days.
Mr. Roddy - 5th and 6th grade students can participate in chorus and 6th grade students can participate in Select Chorus.
Mr. Fenton and Ms. Hecht - 5th and 6th grade students can participate in band & orchestra. Music lessons are given during the day on a rotating schedule.
