Crafters interested in participating
What is it?
The annual craft fair is the major fundraiser for Remington Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). All proceeds directly benefit the students and teachers to enhance learning. In this time of constrained budgets, PTO is able to offer things to the classroom that they may not have been able to receive without the support of fundraising. PTO has also supported students by paying for transportaion and entrance fees for field trips.
When and where is it held?
The 32nd Annual Remington PTO Elementary Arts and Crafts Fair will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm at the Ilion Jr.-Sr. High School located at 1 Golden Bomber Drive, Ilion, NY 13357. View directions.
What will I see there?
On average, approximately 100 vendors participate in the Arts and Craft Fair. You will see a variety of items ranging from wood creations, clothing, jewelry, accessories, soaps, doll clothing, unique items and much more.
PTO sponsors the cafeteria where you can purchase food items and refreshments to take a break from shopping. They also hold a Bountiful Bake Sale selling homemade items donated by Remington families and staff.
Something for everyone! Kids can stop at the kids craft section and let their creativity show or you can test your luck on winning at the Chance Auction full of items donated by the participating crafters and local merchants.
Crafters interested in participating
If you are interested in participating in the craft fair, complete the Reminton PTO Craft Fair registration form. Follow all instructions and return to Krissi Newtown, Remington PTO Craft Fair Registration, 16 Hess Avenue, Ilion, NY 13357. Enclose a long self addressed, stamped ($.88) envelope with your registration paperwork and payment.
Guarantee last year's location and save $5.00 off the entrance fee by registering early. Early bird registration deadline is September 15, 2012.
Want to get involved?
The craft fair relies on volunteers and donations from local merchants. Donations may include food or supplies for the kitchen, items for the chance auction or monetary donations for the ad book.
