Follow directions the first time they are given.

Do not use bad language, tease, or make unkind, disrespectful, or inappropriate remarks to others.

Treat property as if it were your own.
Take Responsibility For Your Choices and Actions

When you have made a good choice, praise yourself and continue making good choices.

If you made an unwise choice or acted in an inappropriate manner, accept that it was not a good choice, do what is appropriate to correct the unacceptable choice like apologize, and then learn from it to improve yourself.

Take responsibility for the consequences of your actions.
Student Code of Conduct
Remington Elementary Student Code of Conduct (PDF), Ilion CSD - The intent of this Code of Conduct is to promote responsible behavior that creates an orderly and safe school environment. It is the belief of the Ilion Central School District that everyone in our community must strive toward contributing to this goal.
Attendance
To report an absent or late child:

If after school hours, please leave a message with the child's name, teacher, and reason for the absence, ie: stomach bug, family business, etc.

You may also email remattendance@ilioncsd.org to report an absence.
If your child will be arriving late or leaving early for an appointment, you must sign them in/out in the school office. It is best to send in a note prior to the appointment indicating what time your child is leaving.
If you do not call in an absence for your child, one of our staff members will be calling you, so we can ensure that the child is, indeed, safely at home or with a sitter.
